Lacrosse 10 Second Clock Drill

The purpose of this drill is to work on good offense and defense techniques.

For this drill, break your team into offense and defense. The offense should line up outside the Restraining Box and the defense should line up inside the Restraining Box.

The drill starts with the coach rolling a ball inside the Restraining Box towards the player on offense. Once the ball is in play, the defender should attempt to steal the ball from the offensive player or prevent a clear shot at the goal.

The player on offense has 10 seconds to score a goal. The Offense is awarded 1 point for a goal, the Defense is awarded 1 point for stopping a score.

The players not involved in the drill should serve as the shot clock and count down from 10.
